Economics (EC)

Provides a foundation in economic theory and practice to prepare pre-service teachers for teaching economics (5-12). Students analyze organization of fundamental concepts and develop lesson plans for middle or high school classes. Organized around six Economics standards established by the NH Department of Education and related thematic national social studies standards (NCSS). Limited to Teacher Certification majors only. Fall of even years.
