Footnotes

Students may submit a Student Request form to the Substance Use Prevention and Intervention Council, to request consideration of another course to meet the Approved Courses requirement. Up to 6 credits of internship can count toward SUPI minor elective credits. The required minor courses must be completed or in progress when the internship occurs. Internships under the Social Work course designator (SW 3800) must be approved by the SUPI Council coordinator and the SW program coordinator. Students in major programs that have an internship option may choose to create an internship through their major program instead. This pathway also requires approval from the SUPI Council coordinator.  

  • 1- Students may request one INCP-designated course addressing a relevant topic to count as one of their electives. The requirement must be reviewed band approved by the Substance Use and Prevention Council Coordinator.
  • 2- Up to 6 credits of internship can count toward SUPI minor elective credits. Internship must be approved by SUPI Council Coordinator. Student in Major programs with internships may choose to create an internship through their major program. This pathway also requires approval from the SUPI Council coordinator.
