HW 2300  Becoming a Peer Educator  (1)  

In this course, students will learn the knowledge and skills to become a Certified Peer Educator and student leader in health and wellness efforts on campus. Springs and Falls.

HW 3705  Social Statistics  (4)  

Introduces students to the importance and uses of statistics in the social sciences, including History, Social Work, and Political Science. Focuses on a beginning level understanding of probability, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics using applied examples from many disciplines. Students are also introduced to computer applications for managing and analyzing data. Springs. (QRCO)

HW 4910  Health & Wellness Independent Study  (1-4)  

Provides students with specialized knowledge in areas of human service provision relating to a student's special interests and/or not covered in existing available courses. Consent of the supervising instructor and HW coordinator required. If the student will apply IS credit to their Substance Use Prevention and Intervention minor, approval of SUPI coordinator is also required. Springs and Falls. Instructor permission required.
