NE 4911  Topics in Neuroscience - Independent Study  (4)  

Students will define their independent study topic in consultation with members of the Neuroscience Council, who must approve the proposed project. The course involves conducting in-depth scholarly research on a selected neuroscience topic, critically evaluating the relevant literature. The course culminates in the synthesis of peer-reviewed sources into a literature review that adheres to the formatting style standard for the field. Consent of the instructor who will supervise the independent study and the Department Chair are both required. Springs and Falls. Instructor permission required.
