Global Health Minor
Global Health is a fast-growing field of study and employment. Students in this minor acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, and come to understand health and illness as inherently interconnected to cultural, social, and political forces around the world. This background is essential for students pursuing careers in health care or adjacent sectors, especially those working overseas or with a diverse client population in the United States.
Students in the Global Health minor are encouraged to take courses outside their major discipline, particularly for the Current Global Health Issues component. If they do not they must ensure that they have at least 6 credits of upper-level coursework outside their major in order to be able to have a minor.
Please see complete information on all of the requirements to earn a minor at Plymouth State University.
